Of Royal Palm Beach

We are truly appreciative for your interest in helping the Shepherd's Heart AME Church in our commitment to continue making a mighty impact with our ministries and community outreach efforts. We are a very young church, but our desire is not to be a "Big" church, but rather a "Relevant" church with a "Big Heart." We are also an "Inclusive" ministry in that our desire is simply to help those in need, whoever they are and wherever they may be in this journey called life. Your contributions are needed and greatly appreciated in support of our efforts.

In addition to our ongoing ministries,

we make monthly community contributions...

TSH was happy to make the Roosevelt Elementary Safety Patrols our Give Back To Community Outreach recipients for this month! (Washington D.C. Annual Trip)

The Barnabas Project was a mass giveaway where we welcomed approximately a hundred people to shop for free. All leftover items were donated to missions in Haiti.

The Shepherd's Heart is proud to be a sponsor for this Violence and Abuse

awareness event for young adults ages 13-25

TSH wanted to ease the burden of a family whose newborn had a heart transplant, so we provided them groceries and gas giftcards until the baby was able to come home

We award "Sheros" of Community Service at our Annual Prayer Breakfast

Homeless Outreach

Currently, the Lord is leading TSH to help with the plight of the homeless. Palm Beach County has a need and we are in search of property to offer emergency shelter for families. Currently, there aren't any emergency shelters. In the meantime, we go out and distribute care packages. We also join Exhorter Fitzgerald in ministering to the Elderly in the nursing homes.

Pastor Sapp is also a certified Christian Counselor,

and weekly counsels members and non members alike...

Scholarship for College

At the Shepherd's Heart we are committed monthly to contribute community outreach in some form. Here, we gave a scholarship to someone who fell short financially of realizing her goal to return to school and the Shepherd's Heart met the need of her lack.

Back To School Bash Supply Giveaway

The Shepherd's Heart First Annual Back To School Bash was phenomenal!!! Attendance far exceeded our expectations. Many school supply giveaways require pre-registration and or a set low income qualifying criteria, but the Shepherd's Heart is located in the Village of Royal Palm Beach, where most families are middle income but hardest hit by the recession as they have too much income to meet giveaway requirements but are still struggling financially. We managed to receive an abundance of donated supplies to giveaway and refused the donations that were attached with criteria. Our goal was to meet the need of the struggling middle income families.

Giving on Thanksgiving

The Shepherd's Heart "Young Adult & Youth Ministry" (Y.A.Y.) and the Anne M. Harvin Missionary Society served hot food on Thanksgiving morning in the city of Lake Worth. The youth truly learned the meaning of why it is "Better to give then to receive".
