Reverend Lee M. Harvin-Sapp
The Reverend Lee M. Harvin-Sapp was born Lee Michele Harvin in Sarasota, Florida. The oldest child of the late Remar and Anne M. Harvin. She and Husband, Forrest Sapp reside in Loxahatchee, Florida. They have been happily married for 32 years. Together they have six children affectionately called “The Saplings” Taylor 30, Trevor 27, twins Shannon Lee and Shawna Rose 24, Braxton 22 and Reese 16. She is also Memaw to Aryia Anne Surrett 3yrs, and Marcellus Jermain Sapp 1 yr.
Rev. Sapp has a bachelor’s degree in Religion, and a Master’s degree in Divinity from Payne Theological Seminary. She is also a Christian Counselor. Currently she is working on a Doctorate in Ministry from Payne Theological Seminary.
God has moved mightily in Rev. Sapp’s ministry. She has been the messenger in several Women’s Conferences, Revivals and has facilitated a variety of workshops. Because of her dynamic and informative presentations she is described as “The teaching preacher” and “C4” (A small package with explosive power).

She responded to God’s call into ministry in October of 2005 and was licensed to preach at St. Paul AME Church, West Palm Beach. Currently Rev. Sapp is the founder and pastor of The Shepherd’s Heart AME Church in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. She was ordained an Itinerant Elder in the South Annual Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 2014.
On August 2, 2013 she was appointed by Rick Scott, Governor of Florida to become a member of the state board of directors for the “One Church One Child of Florida Organization”. An adoptive mother of six, she has been a very active adoption and children’s rights advocate for the last 20 years. Rev. Sapp is also an active LGBTQ ally and involved in several social justice issues such as the BLM movement, mass incarceration, rights restoration, and substance abuse recovery, to name a few.
Rev. Sapp has also been an entrepreneur for the past 20 years. Her entrepreneurial experience includes, but is not limited to owning a daycare center, a retail business and catering service. She was the owner of Transcripts By Sapp, a transcription service for 15 years. As of 2013 Rev. Sapp’s ministry and entrepreneurial efforts included being a published author. She is the author of the Pastor June Murder Mysteries series, Christian Fiction for Grown Folk. She is also the founder and owner of Nivrah Christian Book Publishing and Author Management.
